Bulletin Board | A Makeover

Last September I picked up this beauty at the MCH Rummage Sale in Arlington for all of THREE DOLLARS. !!! With a little TLC I knew it was perfect for a project. 

After scraping off the adhesive from the back, I gave it three coats of Benjamin Moore's ADVANCE in white (the ultimate white shellac in the Hall house), then upholstered the perfectly cut foam core that was the backing of Lady Liberty and...presto! A bright new bulletin board for the play room!!

Ten dollars, a little elbow grease and some imagination gave us a Rifle Paper Co. inspired addition to the gallery wall. Enjoy the B&A!
