The Nursery | Crusoe Edition
Things have changed a lot in the last six years, myself included. When we found out we were pregnant with Baby No. 3, a whole new wave of nesting settled in and I had my sights set on the nursery.
"You've already painted it twice since we moved in. You can't possibly need to paint it again!"
The words of my poor husband fell on deaf ears. I had the itch to change and once my mind is made up there's no stopping me.
So a few coats of paint, the migration of house plants, a new masterpiece (inspired by this image I found on Pinterest years ago) along with a few new pieces of art later, our forest-like room was ready for it's newest inhabitant, Crusoe.
In all honesty, I made it for me but I hope he comes to love it as much as I do. I wanted dark and daring. To feel like a cocoon in a forest. Something calm and safe.
